The SING! event has launched!! The benefit for Children's Hospital Los Angeles and Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times is looking for talented high school students to audition and volunteer for this event. If you know any talented teens please send them to www.canyousing.org to register.
Auditions are scheduled for 1/30/10 and 1/31/10. The performance is the weekend of March 20, 2010.
There are so many exciting opportunities for the teens that want to participate. Each duet will be partnered with a professional songwriter to create an original song that will be performed in the show and produced for download.
High School students that do not sing can volunteer to work on 'producing' the event, organizing rehearsals, creating short films and posting them on our YouTube channel and so much more...

Deborah Gibson and Howard Fine present a special "Song Styling & Interpretation Intensive", a two-day workshop in which each performer will work on both the mechanics of a song from a vocal technique standpoint and also the emotional aspects of the same song from an acting standpoint. The second day will culminate in a 16-bar audition for directors, casting directors and producers from the LA theater community. Musical theater songs are preferred, but pop songs will be considered. Open to ages 12 and up (yes, adults are welcome, too!). Younger performers will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Acceptance is by referral or audition only. The dates are Saturday & Sunday, November 7th & 8th. Location will be announced once accepted to the intensive. Cost is $375 per student ($400 by PayPal). Limited number of students.
